Eggy breakfast

This morning two people tweeted they were having yummy sounding eggy breakfasts.

@Ailbhetweets was having eggs with dippy soldiers.

@leafhsetherapy was having poached eggies on toast.

I think it is both their birthdays so they kind of deserve eggy breakfast.

Me, its not my birthday, but hey I fancied eggs anyway so I had fried on toast mmmm.

It’s Tuesday, it’s damp. Why ever not have eggy breakfast I say!

  3. Hurray! I have a real thing about slippery egg white.. I can happily eat uncooked meringue, but not the slidey stuff. I usually end up with slightly overcooked yolks just to avoid any uncooked wet white…

  5. I think if you have lots of fat you can flip bits on the top to cook the white but not the yolk. sometimes I do them easy over. I love runny yolk but not white, very hard to get right.

  7. It is! OH saw a chef on TV finish them under the grill, that seems to work well, just veils the yolks but leaves them runny. He doesn’t care actually, but it upsets me to serve him eggs with wet tops! I should get a life…
