Ah yes the smell effect. Its quite well known and yes fresh asparagus causes it too. There is some debate about whether everyone is affected and some just can’t smell it or whether only some people are affected. If you google it there is loads of info on what causes it etc – if of course you are that interested.
Tastes so good though fresh that probably a price worth paying ;0

I just wanted to share a bit of a gross anecdote regarding asparagus and wondered if anyone else had a similar experience. An ex-boyfriend of mine was a bit partial to asparagus flavoured cup-a-soups – but he always complained they made his wee smell funny. Gross I know, but does eating fresh asparagus have the same effect?!!!! I’ve never noticed it…
